Do now: Which motif seems the most interesting to you? Why?
Objectives:
- examine how objects/sayings can accrue meaning over time
- strive to unpack meaning of motifs

- In groups: share findings for your motif
- Complete the “meaning” column for your assigned motif
- On a piece of easel paper: draw your motif (as big as possible), write three quote examples of motif, and write an assertion statement about the meaning of the motif
HW: Read chapters 21-22 for THURSDAY & post to “Catcher Quotation Discussion” according to the schedule.
